Loughran – Tommy Loughran Handwritten Letter – With Harry Greb Content – AULOUGH2
Two page handwritten letter written by Tommy Loughran. Letter is written on New York Athletic Club letterhead and addressed to Dan Cavanaugh and dated Dec. 18, 1957. He speaks of his boxing career and his troubles with his damaged right hand. He also speaks of his bout with Gene Tunney and how he was overly confident because he recently beat Harry Greb and underestimated Tunney. He also writes that Tunney got the decision because of the first round knock down. This letter comes with two pages, which has writing on three of the sides and the envelope that is addressed to Cavanaugh. The letter is in very good condition with normal folds and the envelope is in fair condition with paper loss, as pictured.
