Description

Original 6 1/2″ x 8″ autographed press photo of Harry Greb. Photo is inscribed “To My Friend Jimmy, Harry Greb”. On back of photo is press stamp and caption which explains the photo. Greb, who was middleweight champ at the time, was sparring with George Courtney during his training for his upcoming title defense against Tiger Flowers at Madison Square Garden. Greb lost his title that night to Flowers. Overall condition for this photo is very good considering the age and also the importance and rarity to have an autographed photo of one of the best fighters of all time. But it  does have a diagonal crease on top left side and some other sporadic creasing and a small chip on bottom right corner.
