Vintage, oversized studio photo of bare knuckle boxer, Tug Wilson, who was best known for his 4 round exhibition fight with the great John L.Sullivan on July 17, 1882 in NY. Wilson was knocked down 7 times by Sullivan. This photo is a studio photo from J.Wood Studios. The size of photo is 13″ x 16″ and with original mat is an impressive 18″ x 22″. It has the studio name, J.WOOD, in the lower left corner. The photo is in very good condition, and the mount is in good condition, with a chip on top left corner, as pictured.
